Walgreens Externship Agreement

To be eligible for the Walgreens Externship you must complete this agreement notifying ed2go when you are ready to begin the application process for your externship. You must apply at the time indicated in your program in order to be eligible for the externship.

Externship Acknowledgement

I acknowledge that an externship with Walgreens is not guaranteed. All students must apply to the program and complete the prerequisite criteria before being accepted into the program. Positions in the externship program are contingent on availability of each Walgreens location. Students are allowed the option to set up their own externship at any other retail facility.
 
I am aware I am required to provide a Criminal Background Check Release Form. I understand this form will be sent to me by the ed2go Externship Coordinator and will require information of a personal nature, such as my social security number, date of birth, and drivers’ license number.
 
I acknowledge that all Walgreens Pharmacy Technician externship program participants must provide their own Professional Liability Insurance. MPL insurance provides protections from acts or missions committed in the practice of the insured professions.

Terms and Conditions

I agree to abide by the rules and regulations required to participate in the Walgreens Externship Program.
 
I will act in a respectful manner and represent my school and ed2go in a positive light. If I experience any difficulties through my externship I will contact my ed2go facilitator and externship coordinator immediately.
 
If I am unable to complete my extern program I will notify my ed2go facilitator and externship coordinator as soon as possible.
 
I am aware that it may take up to 12 weeks to secure an externship from the date my file is completed and submitted to Walgreens.
