Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine & Health Sciences is the premier medical school focusing on evidence-based, holistic, and scientific approaches to natural medicine. Since it’s inception in 1993, SCNM continued to provide game-changing opportunities. The ND job board, a full time career services director, and honors tracks, give both students and graduates distinct advantages as they start careers in the health field.
In addition to the ND program, SCNM now offers online Master’s Programs; Master of Science in Clinical Nutrition and Master of Science in Nutrition Business Leadership for those looking to earn a degree from a leading institution in evidence-based medicine.
Dedicated in 2018, the Neil Riordan Center for Regenerative Medicine is the first of its kind at any naturopathic medical school. Continuing SCNM’s reputation as leaders in the field of naturopathic medicine, research, and stem cell therapy, the Center provides extensive research opportunities and additional clinical experiences for students by offering non-opioid pain relief options to patients.
Opened in Fall of 2021, The Ric Scalzo Institute for Botanical Medicine is a state-of-the-art molecular biology and phytochemistry laboratory which will work in collaboration with the natural products industry and other academic institutions to develop new products and improve existing botanical therapeutics grounded in herbalism’s rich tradition through scientific exploration.
